NYC Voice Teacher, Singer, and Pedagogue Daniel James Shigo has found a treasure trove in a set of recordings that feature audio of a singer, Janet Spencer, trained by Hermann Klein who was a student of Manuel Garcia, Jr.

I was absolutely delighted in listening to these recordings, and we all owe Daniel a debt of gratitude for bringing them to the light of day again. The Old School is reviving itself again thanks to the work of researchers like him!
