Richard Bonynge is the famous conductor and husband of Dame Joan Sutherland, the Australian soprano.

During Richard’s early years in London, he was a pianist for Edgar Herbert Caesari, and might have discussed some of those discoveries with his wife.

In this solo interview, he talks about working with the tenor Luciano Pavarotti, whom he and his wife helped to launch into international stardom. It’s a terrific interview, and great to see Maestro Bonynge talking for such an extended period of time.
