I will be taking a break from blogging for the next week, as I’ll be taking the train to Albany, New York tomorrow. Much like Adelina Patti (pictured below center on the train) I’m taking the Amtrak and will get to have a ‘roommette’, something I’m really looking forward to experiencing!

I’ll be visiting the Seagle Music Colony to attend the opening night of Carlisle Floyd’s opera Susannah.
